Background:The vaginal microbiome is known to be affected by many factors, including hormonal fluctuations. The balance of microbial diversity varies among bacteria, and the balance of a healthy vaginal microbiota is essential for normal vaginal health. However, the balance of the microbiome in the vaginal microbiome is influenced by various factors, including age, gender, and diet. It is well known that age, body weight, and diet influence the balance of the vaginal microbiome. Previous research has shown that diet may affect the balance of the microbiome in the vaginal microbiome. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of a single dose of doxycycline hyclate in mice on vaginal microbiome. The results showed that there was no significant reduction in the microbial composition in the vaginal microbiome in mice treated with doxycycline hyclate compared to the control group. The results also showed that treatment with doxycycline hyclate caused no adverse effects on the vaginal microbiome, which included bacterial and fungi. These results suggest that doxycycline hyclate may have a beneficial effect on the vaginal microbiome in mice.
